Richard M. Elias was honored with a 2023 Top Five Settlement Award from Missouri Lawyers Media at the 2023 awards banquet today. Elias obtained a $23.71 million settlement on behalf of an infant who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury after a boat accident and subsequent product failure of a component part of the boat. The settlement ranked as the third highest settlement in Missouri in 2023, and was the largest settlement for a single incident personal injury case.
